Dr. Peter Cole

Dr. Peter Cole is the Local Head of the Department of Anesthesia at Chilliwack General Hospital in BC. He divides his time between administering anesthetics and treating patients in the Chronic Pain Clinic. Dr. Cole focuses on a biopsychosocial spiritual approach, integrating functional, complementary, and alternative therapies with a special interest in Eastern medicine, wellness, nutrition, life coaching, NLP, and technological solutions for pain.
With over 10 years of experience treating chronic pain in rural Canada, Dr. Cole has learned to provide maximum benefit to his patients with limited resources. His extensive research focuses on empowering patients to manage their pain independently, optimizing their care before, during, and after clinic visits. The fundamentals of his approach can be applied to anyone suffering from pain, regardless of their location.
Dr. Cole earned his medical degree in Zimbabwe and trained as an anesthesiologist in South Africa. He has worked in South Africa, Zimbabwe, England, and Canada, bringing a wealth of international experience to his practice. He is also a Stanford University Empowered Relief Certified Clinical Instructor and a Qi Gong teacher, continually applying his research and techniques to both his patients and himself.
